The 2024 WDSF World Championship Formation Latin Adult took center stage on December 7th, 2024, at the Multiversum in Schwechat/Vienna, Austria, showcasing one of the most exhilarating and synchronized expressions of DanceSport: Formation, in a mesmerizing celebration of unity, artistry, and excellence.

The Essence of Formation

Formation is much more than dancing—it transcends the boundaries of competitive DanceSport. This unique discipline brings together teams of 6 to 8 couples who perform intricate routines that harmoniously blend technical mastery, synchronization, and storytelling. Each movement is a testament to countless hours of rigorous training, where precision meets passion, and every step contributes to a breathtaking spectacle.

Captivating audiences and judges alike with their creativity, musicality, and rhythm, these performances embody the values at the heart of Formation: teamwork, innovation, and the relentless pursuit of perfection. This year’s Championship was not just about technical excellence; it was a celebration of unity, artistry, and the enduring spirit of DanceSport, steeped in tradition and pushing the boundaries of what is possible on the floor.

Grün-Gold-Club Bremen: Masters of the Formation Floor

Grün-Gold-Club Bremen reaffirmed their position as legends of Formation Latin, claiming their 14th World Championship title with a flawless and exhilarating performance of their choreography, Freedom and Peace.

Under the guidance of their coach, Roberto Albanese, the team delivered the most challenging routine of the evening with impeccable execution. Their high-speed choreography, paired with seamless transitions and striking musicality, earned them 36.48 points, the highest of the evening, and left the audience in awe.

Facing fierce competition from the Austrian HSV Zwölfaxing and the creative routines of the Mongolian teams Moon Dance and Star, Grün-Gold-Club Bremen once again demonstrated why they are the gold standard in Formation Latin.

From their early triumphs to their standout victories in cities like Bremen, Vienna, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong, Grün-Gold-Club Bremen has consistently pushed the boundaries of what is possible in Formation Latin, combining precision, innovation, and storytelling to create unforgettable moments in DanceSport history.
