A Dream Start to the Olidata DanceSport Cup in Sitges

December 7, 2024, witnessed an unforgettable opening day at the WDSF Olidata DanceSport Cup, a two-day event held in the stunning coastal town of Sitges (Spain). Renowned for its picturesque setting by the Mediterranean Sea, the competition venue offered an intimate atmosphere where the vibrant energy of the audience flowed directly onto the dance floor, inspiring athletes to deliver exceptional performances.

The day was a vibrant showcase of passion, elegance, and the spirit of competition, with highlights including the WDSF World Championship Show Dance Standard Adult, where couples fused storytelling with movement, creating mesmerizing performances; the WDSF PD European Championship Standard Adult, which showcased the pinnacle of talent from the Professional Division; and the WDSF Sport Series Games Qualifier Latin Adult, an event held every four years that stood out as an unforgettable milestone. This qualifier also marked the highly anticipated return of Marius-Andrei Balan and Khrystyna Moshenska, fresh from their fourth World Championship Latin title at the Asian DanceSport Festival in July.
