IDSF Adjudicators’ Congress
Just prior to the IDSF 2009 World DanceSport Championship Latin in Slovenia, the organisers staged an Adjudicators’ Congress at a Maribor dance school. It was very well organised by Natasa Ambroz (unfortunately absent due to health reasons) and Heinz Spaeker. Well over 100 IDSF Adudicators attended, and everyone present agreed that the congress provided excellent information on the following topics: Wheelchair DanceSport, the new IDSF Judging System and the Viennese Waltz. Just one thing needs to be pointed out before you go to the site: the International Olympic Committee calls for “less subjective” judging systems in all sports.
