Second IDSF DanceSport Academy Workshop
The mission of the IDSF DanceSport Academy is to provide trainers, coaches, adjudicators and others in DanceSport with the most comprehensive and updated information on all aspects which are of relevance to their work.
Going beyond the traditional transfer of knowledge through congresses and seminars - and taking a more scientific and holistic approach - the IDSF DanceSport Academy provides its services through technology and a number of other initiatives. Here is the next one!
The IDSF DanceSport Academy organises immediately after the Austrian Open, on 22 November, a workshop for
- all athletes
- all holders of an IDSF Adjudicator and/or Chairman license
- all holders of an IDSF National Member Body license
- coaches, trainers, officials, observers and guests
at the TSK Juventus Studios, Taborstraße 69, Vienna, Austria.
“OPENING OUT”
"Opening Out" is an IDSF Academy workshop on what we can/should learn from science and other dance forms.
Dynamics Measurement and Evaluation. Is it the future in practice and adjudicating? Dr Erich Müller, pictured on the left, professor at the Institute for Sports Science and Kinesiology of the University of Salzburg lectures and comments on practical demonstrations.
Modern Dance: Quality by Relaxation. Bruno Genty, international lecturer, teacher and performance artist in Modern Contemporary Ballett Paris. Lecture, exercises. Bring practice clothing and sneakers!
HipHop: Co-ordination at Speed. Zeljko Bozic, international lecturer, teacher and renowned HipHop choreographer is assisted by Peter Majzelj and Maja Gersak, professional Latin dancers from Slovenia. Lecture, excercises, practical demonstrations.
