Raising Awareness

Botswana DanceSport Association (BODANSA) public relations officer Ishmael Mhotsha said the dance competition targeted the youth including children from the age of five years.

The dancers paricipated in four different styles: Latin, Standard and House and Hip Hop. He confirmed that couples and individuals from different places around the country and more than 15 clubs entered the competition.

“This year’s competitions were different because we  introduced the category of the rising stars,” he said. Mhotsha hoped that media houses would help to raise awareness and bring DanceSport to the people.
