East Asian Games: China and Japan

China and Japan dominated the DanceSport competitions at the 2009 East Asian Games in Hong Kong. Of the ten gold medals awarded for the individual dances, six went to China, three to Japan, and the Viennese Waltz went to Korea. In the five-dance "combined" event, both golds were won by Japan.
