World SEN I Standard

Boston, USA - 8 October © Goetz World DanceSport Festival – Boston | Day 1

Highlight of Day 1 is the 2016 WDSF World DanceSport Championship SEN I STD. For the 1st time it is held as an Open Championship. So 66 couples entered and were eager to experience a competition in USA.

As mentioned yesterday, there is a lot of enthusiasm among the organisers. But sometimes the best of intentions are not quite enough. It is always good to listen to and to have experienced people in the organising group. This probably helps to make a competition run more smoothly, working out a perfect schedule and have information ready in time.

The participants in the World Championship SEN I STD danced their final rather late in the evening. Among them the reigning Champions Christian and Elena Bono and 5 top motivated couples. All of them had very good results during the year, so every couple hoped to be the lucky one in the end. The reigning Champions could defend their title in 2016 and were very happy about that. Some of the couples were happy about succeeding and making the final, in some other faces of the finalists we could see disappointment.

There is another chance next year.
