Earlier In Cambrils ...

With a little bit of time on our hands we were finally able to upload more videos that were recorded during this year's D.O. World DanceSport in Cambrils, ESP.

Besides the 2015 European Championships Standard and Youth Latin that were held in the Catalan resort on 5 and 6 April, there were several other competitions taking place as well. Among them were four that open to dancers with Down syndrome.

Antonio Mas, the organiser of the traditional D.O. World DanceSport, pioneered the concept a few years ago. Dancers with Down syndrome pair up together or with non-Down dancers to compete in Latin and Standard. In 2015, too, Down Opens were held for two age groups - Adult and Junior - and produced these rare moments when dance truly transgresses every barrier imaginable and becomes a way of bringing people together. Here is one of them.

International Opens in Latin and Standard were also staged concurrently with the European Championships. Here is the Standard final.
