Profile

Hi everyone, my name is Bboy Gombi, I’m from Szeged, Hungary.

I first came across with Breakdance in the beginning of the 90’s. There was party, where I saw some guys hopping into the circle one after another and in that moment my instinct immediately took over and made me jump in the middle with my electric boogie moves … obviously I tried to do some breaking as well.

The Suicidal Lifestyle group formed in September 1991, and I joined them same year in November. We practiced constantly and danced on the streets of Europe.

From 1995, the group participated in every single year on the breakdance world championship, the Battle of the Year. (BoTY)

In 1998, we came in 4th on BoTY, and right after this, we decided to visit Bronx, USA, to see and live through the real Breakdance feeling. Maybe thanks to this “spiritual” journey… we came home with the 1st place from BoTY in 1999.

In 2000, I went back to USA for a half year. I visited Chicago, Florida, LA, Boston and so on … where I met with a lot of new and fun people/dancers.

Later on , I moved to Göteborg, Sweden in 2006 and I live there since.

It’s 2021 now, and I am still in love with the Breaking lifestyle and try to dance it the best I can.

Suicidal Lifestyle:

The most famous Bboy crew from Eastern Europe in the late 90’s. It is one of the most respected crews of all time. The first crew that was able to win both BoTY and IBE in the same year in 1999. And in 2000 the UK Bboy championship.
