Profile

Since the age of 10, I began getting involved in the art of hip hop and breaking, guided by my father and mentor, who is a member of one of the first breaking crews in Mexico, Neza City Breakers I began my focus on Breaking in the year 1999. Since 2004, my crew, Spin Masters, and I have won numerous national competitions. In 2010, I took the initiative to better structure ranking events in the country and founded one of the most important urban dance festivals in Mexico, *Kill the Beat*. I am recognized as a cultural and sports promoter of this art, helping to open up spaces for the discipline and creating educational programs for new generations.

In this context, we have developed and implemented workshops in institutions such as the Ministry of Culture and the Sports Institute of Mexico City, incorporating breaking into their programs. In 2018, I was part of the commentary team for breaking at the Youth Olympic Games in Argentina, broadcast on Canal Once in Mexico. In 2019, together with the Spin Masters collective, we were awarded the National Youth Award in the category of Urban Art and Strengthening Social Cohesion, given by the Government of Mexico City, in recognition of the artistic and community impact of our work in the neighborhoods.

We strive to give our art the value and respect it deserves, demonstrating that breaking is a powerful tool for people to discover their skills and abilities. Through urban arts, we have challenged stereotypes, broken paradigms, and shortened the gaps imposed since childhood. Dance has become a channel for connecting with the community, fostering coexistence in a multicultural society. Currently, we collaborate with the Mexican Olympic Committee, the National Commission for Physical Culture and Sports, as well as with the Breaking MX Association and the Mexican Dance Sport Association.
