Results Announced for the 2025 WDSF Athletes’ Commission Elections
The World DanceSport Federation (WDSF) is pleased to announce the results of the 2025 Athletes’ Commission elections for the European and PD representatives. These elections mark another step in strengthening athlete representation and engagement within the WDSF structure.
The elections took place in Blackpool, United Kingdom, from 11 to 13 April 2025, during the WDSF DanceSport Festival, offering athletes the opportunity to participate in this important governance process. The elections were held in accordance with the WDSF Presidium Operating Policy for the Athletes’ Commission.
European Representative Election
Following the final vote count, and as scrutinised and certified by Matteo Del Gaone, the Athletes’ Commission confirms that:
Anastasia Glazunova
has been duly elected as the European Athletes’ Commissioner for a four-year term until 2029.
PD Representative Election
Following the final vote count, and as scrutinised and certified by Claire Ryan, the Athletes’ Commission confirms that:
Sean Smullen
has been duly elected as the PD Athletes’ Commissioner for a four-year term until 2029.
The WDSF Athletes Commission thanks all candidates for their participation and commitment to DanceSport and extend their appreciation to the athletes who engaged in this democratic process and made their voices heard.
