The 2024 WDSF World U21 Championship Latin in Salaspils (LAT)

The stars continued to shine brightly for Luigi La Rocca – Marika Maria Scerra (ITA), the reigning European U21 Latin Champions, who entered the World Championship floor at Salaspils (LAT) after a rigorous training period, which ultimately gave them foundations to build on their confidence and talent. And which, at the end of the day, ended in tears and ultimate happiness after the Master of Ceremony announced these young stars as the 2024 WDSF World U21 Latin Champions.

This title added another highlight to their impressive list of achievements: World and European Youth Latin Champions in 2022, World and European U21 Latin Silver medalists in 2023, and now, the 2024 WDSF European and World U21 Latin title winners as the icing of the cake.

The electrifying and dynamic final saw six ambitious and determined young couples dancing their socks off, performing their best and fighting for the places on the podium by challenging and lifting each other to the next level with their dancing.

Following the Italian couple on the podium were Demid Anisimov – Giuliana Domingues da Silva (GER) on the second place and as the first runners-up, just like at the Europeans earlier this fall, and Marc Mateos – Marija Golubeva (ESP), the reigning World U21 Ten Dance Champions, on the third place.
The final line-up was completed with Riccardo Pierotti – Tara Por (ITA) on the fourth place, Pascar Paul Ioan – Melani Bartosevic (ROU) on the fifth place and Kajetan Tygielski – Nicole Menser (POL) on the sixth place.

This superb Championship event saw 64 incredibly talented young couples participating. The WDSF thanks the National DanceSport Federation – LSDF, the team of organizers and all partners for the wonderful event!
