New Presidium 17/06/2013

WDSF Presidium © Thomas Estler The Annual General Meeting of the World DanceSport Federation was held at the Marriott Shanghai Luwan on 16 June.

The elections of the Members making up the WDSF Presidium for the period 2013 to 2017 were among the last items on the agenda.

Delegates representing 62 WDSF Member Bodies - directly or through proxies - were able to cast their votes for 14 candidates of whom 10 held office on the previous Presidium already.

Of the Members who had served the term 2010 to 2013, only Second Vice-President Natasa Ambroz chose not to stand for re-election. The General Meeting thanked Natasa for the great efforts and the unwavering dedication that she had brought to her work on the WDSF Presidium over five mandates.

In a clear show of confidence, the General Meeting re-elected the incumbent candidates with unanimous decisions in nearly all cases. Sergio Rotaris, ITA, and Vasile Gliga, ROU, were elected as the two new Ordinary Members of Presidium.
