Message by DSE/EADA 25/05/2011

The Publicity Officer of DSE and EADA, Mrs Rachelle Stretch, informs:

Last Tuesday, our President, Mr David Corfield, suffered a heart attack and was taken to hospital where his condition was stabilised. For the future however, a heart bypass operation is necessary.

David is currently resting and preparing for this operation which is to take place at the Royal Brompton, London, as soon as he is fit enough. David's physician has advised complete rest and relaxation for him to have the best chance of a full recovery.

David and Mary are very disappointed that they cannot meet with their many friends, from around the world, at this year's British Open in Blackpool or at the IDSF AGM in Luxembourg, and they send their good wishes to you all.

David and Mary are receiving messages with good wishes from their many friends and are comforted by them at this difficult time and thank you for your concern. If you wish to send a personal message we will be happy to pass it to Mary on your behalf. Please use the Membership Secretary address rather than the registered EADA/DSE office address for correspondence.

Pat Fortin, 16 Prince of Wales Court, 227-229 Kingsway, Hove, E. Sx, BN3 4HF United Kingdom

Kind regards,

Rachelle
