It is eagerly awaited everywhere: the inaugural leg of the 2017 GrandSlam Series that will pit the strongest couples in Standard (18 April) and Latin (19 April) against each other for the first time this year. All the big names have confirmed that they will dance. The top German Latin couples will fly in from their National Championships on Saturday to make it for the second round on Sunday afternoon.

You can still enter the GrandSlam Helsinki all other events that are held as part of the Finnish Open here.

The Finnish Republic celebrates its 100th anniversary this year: as good a reason as any to make the trip to Helsinki and to enjoy this different nordic country, its people and the dancing at the Messukeskus Exhibition Centre that will again be venue for the Finnish Open and the GoExpo Sports Trade Show.
