FDSARR Thinking BIG 10/04/2018

2018 Moscow World Open STD On 7 and 8 April, the All Russian Federation of DanceSport and Acrobatic Rock 'n' Roll (FDSARR) had two mega events taking place at separate locations which are 2,000 km apart. An air bridge was installed to bring some of the dancers from one to the other.

FDSARR organised one mega event itself in the capital Moscow. It comprised the 2018 U-21 World Ten Dance, the 2018 European Cup LAT and World Opens in LAT and STD.

The second event, the Chelyabinsk Governor's Cup, was held in Chernyabinsk in the Ural.

The event was organised and hosted by the Chelyabinsk DanceSport Federation and by "Veronika"
Dance Sport School. It included the 2018 PD World Latin Showdance and the 2018 PD World Cup STD plus International Opens in STD and LAT.

Some couples danced at both locations: Evgeny Moshenin - Dana Spitsyna, RUS, entered and won the International Open in Chelyabinsk and came in second, behind Dmitry Zharkov - Olga Kulikova, RUS, at the Worl Open in Moscow. Armen Tsaturyan - Svetlana Gudyno won the World Open in Moscow before taking the plane to Chelyabinsk to dance a spectacular showcase there.

Here is the FINAL REEL of the 2018 PD World Cup STD in Chelyabinsk, recorded and edited by our colleague Helmut Roland.
