"When I saw how the Finnish DanceSport Federation and the Master Dance Club had embedded our GrandSlam into the structures of their Finland Open 2015 I happily concluded that we had us another great host. This was what WDSF had in mind when it had launched the Series more than a decade earlier.

The highest ranked couples dancing in an event that does justice to their class.
All our stars performing at the same time and at a perfect venue!
To the tunes of an outstanding orchestra!
In front of an appreciative audience!
Caught expertly on camera and broadcast to the world!

"But most importantly, it is a matter of our dancers being looked after by people whose heart is into dance as sport.

"The Finland Open provides for all of this as it joins the ranks of a small number of select events with the same attribute."
