05/05/2024 read more ...After the inaugural edition of "DanceSport at the End of the World" in October 2014, dancers from seven South American countries gathered once more in Ushuaia, ARG, for two days of intense competition. Top billing went to the 2015 South American DanceSport Championships Latin and Standard for the age groups Adult and Senior I.
WDSF Opens Latin as well as Standard were held for Adult and Youth concurrently with the South American on 17 and 18 October. Full results are available here!
A presentation on 16 October targeted trainers and dancers and focused on Choreography and Synchro Dance. The first WDSF Opens in Choreography Modern and Latin for small teams were scheduled over the weekend too.
The presidents of the National Member Bodies held a summit on 19 October with a view to establishing the Latin American DanceSport Federation.
Sports Director Marco Sietas reports that he met with all the presidents to discuss the 2015 AGM, Other Dances, Competition Rules, the Competition Calendar and future common projects.
