The GOC Revisited
Speaking of the latter, it again broke records for the number of videos viewed. Not the single day record, that still stands at close to 40,000 views for the 2010 Youth Latin in Linz, AUT, but for the week (from 15 to 20 August) with some 150,000 views.
In terms of visits to the blog WDSF Communications has every reason to be satisfied as well: a steady 5,000 unique visitors per day are a good indication that the concept finds acceptance. What remains somewhat disappointing is the visitors' reluctance to comment on the videos and posts. We hope that this will improve for our next blog, which is most likely on the WDSF World Latin in Singapore. We'll confirm it in the next few days!
WDSF Communications takes this opportunity to thank the organisers of the GOC Stuttgart and the German DanceSport Federation for their outstanding support to this blog. They provided our team with the perfect environment to work in: a lightning fast line (45 Mbps upstream/95 Mbps downstream), cold soft drinks, excellent sandwiches, an incredible dance studio to record the YouTraining clips, and, above all, the friendliness of everyone involved in the GOC organisation.
