"Just finished our first Professional Division competition in Bangkok ... Feeling fantastic with Pavel Pasechnik," is how Marta Arndt captioned her sequence of selfies on facebook this morning.

And finishing their first Professional Division competition in second place - behind Andrey Zaytsev - Elizaveta Cherevichnay, RUS -  should give the German couple even more reasons to be happy.

It was on 22 April that Pavel wrote: "After being finalists of the 2014 GrandSlam Latin Final in Shanghai and first runners-up at the 2015 German Championship Latin in Mülheim, we would like to announce a big change in our careers, a change to the WDSF Professional Division. We are looking forward to the new challenges as professionals and our first competition in Bangkok!"
