From Ho Chi Minh City
The programme that will be transmitted live from the Tân Bình Stadium by public broadcaster VTV is a local spin-off from the popular "Dancing With The Stars" format. It is aired for the second time after proving highly successful in 2015.
Aside from performing their own Showdance routine, the two partners of every couple will team up with a Vietnamese celebrity to dance another routine that is also considered to determine the overall winners. A nice gesture in this respect: the celebrities were all at the Ho Chi Minh City airport to welcome the couples upon their arrival.
General Secretary Shawn Tay, who is in Vietnam as the official representative of WDSF, will report on the outcome of this year's edition. Below is the "Casanova" performed by Fedor Poliansky - Dina Akhmetgareeva, RUS, in last year's Vietnam Showdance Cup. Enjoy!
