WDSF Communications team member Helmut Roland made it from the PD European  Latin in St Petersburg, RUS, to Baden-Baden, GER, and the Professional Division World Cup LAT held there only two weeks later.

European Champions Vitaly Panteleev - Angelina Nechkhaeva, RUS, and third-placed Pavel Pasechnik - Marta Arndt, GER, weren't among the 19 couples dancing in Baden-Baden.

Latvians Smolko and Bazykina, second in St Petersburg, took first and Daniele Sargenti - Uliana Fomenko, ITA, were first runners-up. Wang Jun - Jia Yiwen from China were second runners-up. Here is the first round as it was danced yesterday at the Bénazet Hall of the Baden-Baden Casino and Spa.
