2024 WDSF European Championship Ten Dance
Krakow (POL) hosted another successful WDSF Continental Championship event last week as 29 European Ten Dance couples representing the same number of European countries entered the floor of the venue filled with “Magic of Krakow”.
The four-round event turned out even more magical for Poland’s own Armand Fazullin – Klaudia Iwanska, who impressed the prestigious Adjudicator panel and the spectators with their dynamic and elegant dancing round after another.
During the day, they were most consistent in both Standard and Latin dances and, in the end, they won the European title.
It was their first title in Adults even though the couple has been on the podium several times in European and World Championships over the years.
Akim Pekunov - Masa Kastelic (SLO) performed beautifully aswell, and their efforts were awarded with silver medals. The young Armenian couple Yaroslav Kiselev - Sofia Filipchuk, quite unstoppable at U21 Championships in 2023, secured the European Championship bronze.
Outside of the podium of the spectacular European Championship final were Eric Izakson - Violetta Karnaushenko (ISR) on the fourth place, Lorenzo Alberetti - Aleksandra Raskatova (ITA) on the fifth place, and Nicolo Barbizi - Sara Ros Jakobsdottir (ISL) on the sixth place.
WDSF thanks the Polish DanceSport Federation, the full team of organisers and volunteers and the City of Krakow for their support in organising this European title event.
