2018 PD ECH LAT | Boeblingen, Germany
Only five weeks after the WDSF PD World Championship Latin in Shijiazhuang City / China the WDSF PD European Championships Latin were held in Boeblingen / Germany on June 9th.
Reinhard Egli from WDSF Communications Commission and Gaby Michel-Schuck, Director Communications from DTV-PD were at the place to report from the event.
Congress Hall in Boeblingen was sold out when the 33 couples marched in for the opening ceremony. After 3 rounds, 6 finalists had been qualified. Again Gabriele Goffredo - Anna Matus from Moldova presented themseves in top form and won the title.
2nd place and runners-up position was given to Marts Smolko - Tina Bazykina from Latvia. Giacomo Lucchese - Francesca Berardi from Italy achived 3rd place. Juan Manuel Gomez - Marina Mangione from Spain attained 4th place ahead of David Jutge - Tatiana Podgornaia
from France, who scored 5th place. Andrey Strebizh - Elena Manylova from Russian Federation gained 6th place.
