2017 Latin Quarter
The traditional Latin Quarter open competitions brought again couples by the hundreds to the floor of the Crocus Expo on the outskirts of Moscow. The two World Open registered more than 200 entries each. The two Youth Opens drew between 110 (Standard) and 150 (Latin) couples. It's good to see that DanceSport continues to trhive in Russia despite the adversities it is facing. The Ministry of Sports has assumed some of the roles of the national governing body.
