2017 European STD | Olomouc, CZE

The European Championship Standard is danced on a Friday - for a change. That could imply that some of you will have to follow the coverage through the "Live from Olomouc" blog from work.

We will have to confirm it still, but the first round should start in the later part of the afternoon. It's a stand-alone championship - for a change!

63 couples have been nominated by their National Member Body. By the looks of it, not all favourites will be present in Olomouc. Look at the starting list!

Speaking of work: who will definitely have to put in long hours of it between today and tomorrow are the organisers. The picture above shows the venue as of a few moments ago. But then we are confident that chief organiser František Dávidek and his crew will get this Flora Olomouc Exhibition Centre ready for DanceSport in time for round one.
