2013 European Latin Formation

One of the two Zuvedra teams managed to take advantage of the home field advantage at the 2013 European Latin Formation, winning the title ahead of Vera Tiumen, RUS, and Grün-Gold-Club Bremen, GER.

The Lithuanian formation Zuvedra 1 saw the powers shift in their favour once more, after it had lost to Bremen and Tiumen in last year's World and European Championships.

"La grande dame" of the Lithuanian Formation DanceSport, Skaiste Idzeleviciene, who is in charge of the choreography and who trains Zuvedra 1, was visibly elated after the final.

Just prior to the first round on Saturday she professed to be "very worried" after she had seen the new and improved routines of the other contenders.
