World DanceSport Magazine #3
It is the first Special Issue, with a primary focus on DanceSport’s fourth appearance on the programme of The World Games. In July, the best athletes in Latin, Standard and Rock 'n' Roll travel to Kaohsiung, TPE, to unite with 4,000 peers
from 36 other sports in a quest for excellence. Ten pages are dedicated to The World Games. The look at IDSF's involvement in previous editions confirms that DanceSport has contributed a fair share to making them the premier showcase for
the sports currently not featured in the Olympics.
Given the immense popularity the sport enjoys all over Asia, the hopes are high that previous attendance records will be shattered, and that new benchmarks will be established in terms of media exposure during 2009 Kaohsiung.
