London on the MOVE 11/03/2011

MOVE IT

EADA and DanceSport are ready for business at the 2011 edition of MOVE IT. Rachelle Stretch, the EADA Publicity Officer, has informed IDSF of the successful launch earlier this morning.

"The first afternoon went well, so I hope we'll have a good three days promoting DanceSport," Rachelle writes in her message to IDSF Secertary General Shawn Tay. "Please find attached a photo of the stand - I hope you like it. Thanks again for all your support!"

We have reported on the activities scheduled during MOVE IT earlier. This year's novelty is the Ballroom, which is partnered by EADA/DanceSport England, where experts are on hand to offer "taster" lessons for all abilities and all dance styles.

"The top dance trends this year really reflect the fact that people want to have fun and inject their workout with a new twist," says Georgina Harper, creative director of MOVE IT.

"Also, people love dressing up, so the vintage styles such as the Charleston and Lindy Hop really allow you to work a look while you work out."
