Breakin' and the YOG!

COC Breaking WDSF 1st Vice President Jim Fraser was invited to attend the Annual General Meeting of Canada DanceSport and to talk about WDSF. Knowing Jim is knowing that he had prepared himself well to address everything, from matters of the WDSF treasury to the situation regarding the Russian National  Member Body.

As he informed his colleagues on the WDSF Presidium afterwards, the Q&A session that followed his short speech turned out to be very different from what he had expected.


All they wanted to talk about was Breakin' and the YOG!

They had received a long questionnaire from the Canadian Olympic Committee, dozens of enquiries from dancers and trainers, and many claims from different groups that each of them was the legitimate representative of Breakin' in Canada.  They wanted answers to many questions.

Then on Friday and Saturday I was compere at the Canadian Closed Championships in Vancouver.   Same situation, same questions, same lack of any interest in anything other than  Breakin' and the YOG
