2012 SportAccord in Québec, CAN
WDSF President Carlos Freitag and First Vice President Lukas Hinder are tackling a full agenda in Québec, CAN, during the 2012 Sport Accord Convention.
Their first meetings were held on Sunday, 20 May, and two more days lie still ahead. The convention will conclude on Friday, 25 May, with the SportAccord General Assembly.
Representing DanceSport in this global gathering of sports leaders, industries and media has become a gargantuan task. DanceSport's involvement in different organisations and multi-sport games alone makes for nearly endless hours of meetings. Most prominent on this year's agenda were the General Meetings of the Association of IOC Recognised International Sports Federations, of the International World Games Association and the International Masters Games Association - plus a meeting of the working group for the SportAccord World Artistic Games.
The latter's inaugural edition could take place as soon as March 2013! The World Games 2013 take place from 24 July to 5 August ...
